(This is from an email by Oregon MUFON field investigator D.R. to the OM site editor.) UFO Type: Three to four, indistinct, brownish orbs. Sighting Duration: About 3 to 4 seconds. Date: 11/13/08 Time: About 9:15 PM. Place: Milwaukie, Oregon. Witnesses: D.R. and a friend. Last night around 9:15 PM, I left my apartment to go to my car to get bottled water I left in the trunk. On the way, I looked up to admire the clear sky because it had been raining here for so long. I saw three or four brownish objects in a row against the black sky, traveling north to south rapidly about 85 degrees up. At first I thought they were maybe ducks, but they were moving so fast and were silent and seemed to be connected or at least so synchronized [that] they moved as one. The size of [each of] these dark orbs [was] half the size of a full moon and didn't appear to be that high up. They were not illuminated, and later I thought unless you were in the right time and the right place, you would not have seen them! What came to mind was they were incognito. [A friend] was walking ahead of me about 15 feet and did not look up, so she did not see them. I had only a small view of them because I was looking between two apartment buildings, so the duration was around three or four seconds. I told [my friend] what I had seen. She said they could not have been ducks that late at night. I have attached a drawing.
